When our agency was being formed, we already had a clear conception of what kind of people we wanted around. We had two simple conditions: our employees must be talented and they must be friendly. If you are friendly but have no talent – sorry, we don’t need you: we’re in a business where talent is a sine qua non. And if you have talent but aren’t friendly, we invariable respond, No! Life is too short to be spent with people you don’t like.
Now we know that even nice and talented people can cause the biggest disappointments, if they are not able to take responsibility for work that is entrusted to them by having a nonchalant attitude towards deadlines, promises and liabilities.
It’s a fantastic feeling to have created an agency full of friendly people who are talented (and vice versa).
