DDB Worldwide received 52 lions, including two Grand Prix, and took the second position among the most awarded advertising networks in the world this year in the Cannes International Advertising Festival.
As the President of DDB Worldwide – Chuck Brymer concluded “I am proud that in Cannes in 2010 DDB has once again demonstrated its creative confidence and team strength. We create increasingly more ideas which not only entertain, but also change the attitude of the public.”
The campaign “The Fun Theory” created by DDB Stockholm for the Volkswagen brand received the most prestigious Internet advertisement prize in the world – Cyber Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, the other Grand Prix, as well as the Golden Lion was awarded to DDB London for its work submitted for Philips Cinema TV “The Gift” in the newly proposed category Film Craft, which evaluates specifically the performance quality and excellence of the film. This year more than 1000 works were submitted in this newly created category. We congratulate DDB London, DDB Stockholm as well as all the other DDB agencies who deservingly received Lions this year and we wish ourselves as well as others to continue to create even more ideas this year that are able to touch, captivate, and change attitudes!
