DDB strengthens the account team with Kristīne Liniņa (0)

Kristīne had her first 'juicy' job experience working behind the scenes on the “Fabrika” reality show. Mad young colleagues, live broadcasting and the first chance to prove herself. It was here that Kristīne understood that it’s not important what you know, but how much you want to know. Even today she still firmly believes this to be true.

Her great quest for knowledge has also taken Kristīne to the US, where, parallel to a job as a babysitter, she studied photography. She describes the year she spent there as a turning point in her life. She attained freedom there as well as the ability to look at things from a different perspective, and the belief that “it’s not the problem that’s important, but its solution”.

Kristīne is convinced that Latvia is the best place to live, and that day-to-day problems can be overcome with courage, a strong temperament, the perseverance of a goat, and an honest attitude. Therefore, after her return to Latvia, she fulfilled a dream from her youth and got a job as a waitress at "Teātra bārs". Later on, Kristīne worked in a film studio, an advertising agency, and put her considerable organisational skills to good use working on the “Discovery” commissioned TV film, “The Titanic”.

Kristīne comes from a strong family. Her family and friends are her main sources of inspiration. They all go boating together along the most rapid rivers in both good, and not so good, weather conditions. They all ski together, take part in the capital city’s night orienteering competition, sing, dance and celebrate Jāņi in a truly Latvian spirit wearing pastalas, and give Kristīne the director’s baton in her friends’ production of “Skroderdienas Silmačos”. Yes, among other things, Kristīne needs to breathe the air of the theatre at least once a month.

Kristīne’s kitten is called Lady Mince More and her car goes by the name of Sir Lūkass. Kristīne’s workplace is known as DDB.
