On the one hand, September 14, 1995 is just a date in the founding documents of one company. The majority of us arrived at DDB later. A few of us were not even permitted to work 13 years ago for legal reasons.
However, just as in other years, all DDB people in Latvia are raising a glass of champagne not out of a sense of duty, but because this is a very good day for each of us personally.
This is a birthday for possibly the best workplace which a creative person could dream of. In truth, “workplace” is an incredibly rudimentary word. It doesn’t even begin to hint at the unique cocktail of warmth, friendliness, laughter, tears, determination, disappointment, tension, irritation, enthusiasm and love which give this place its character and flavour. We never cease to be amazed how one place has managed to contain all these elements for13 years. We quietly hope that you, our dear clients, partners and friends, find it not just useful, but also maybe even simply enjoyable working with us. We’ll do our very best to ensure that this remains the case for a long time to come.
