DDB and BALTA’S first campaign delivers outstanding results (0)
After the advertising campaign created by our agency, there was not only a upsurge in the number of calls made by potential customers to Balta’s Customer Service Centres and an increase in the number of visitors to its home page, but also a rise in the number of policies sold. These results were not planned given the current economic situation in which the insurance sector is definitely neither the most popular nor the most marketable. Furthermore, this is DDB and AAS Balta’s first joint project and therefore it was a particular challenge for us to deliver a really successful campaign. The campaign attracted the interest of the public with its overtly simply and yet somewhat unusual scenario – a young, newly homeless person who has taken up residence at a bus stop in central Riga accompanied by all of his belongings. Within the framework of the campaign, AAS Balta offered customers expanded real estate insurance providing compensation for damage to an apartment arising from an accident, covering not only the losses incurred, but also the rental costs of temporary accommodation. Naturally, in addition to this non-traditional advertising medium, we also deployed traditional media channels. The campaign lasted for three weeks and the results were significantly better than projected . Another pointer to the success of the campaign was its recognition as one of three most highly rated ads among readers in “Diena” newspaper’s quarterly chart of top advertising.
