DDB campaigns dominate the Password shortlist (0)

Only eight campaigns made it into the final of the Password marketing achievements competition. We’re honoured that three of them were created by DDB: the Nordea Riga Marathon, StatoilExtra CardRe-launch campaign and Statoil’s campaign, Do You Really Need a Bag?
The Nordea Riga Marathon exceeded its set goals four times over and ensured public support and popularity for this highly professional event by bringing together more than 5,300 runners from 35 countries. The StatoilExtra CardRe-launch campaign broke all previous records! Such was the demand from people wanting to get their hands on them that Statoil ended up having to produce additional ExtraCards. In turn, Statoil’s bag campaign achieved the desired results – the quantity of bags handed out fell by almost one half, in spite of a 1% increase in the quantity of purchases. Furthermore, this was one of the first campaigns to draw attention to the sensible use of plastic bags and not surprisingly received a lot of media attention.
