Still basking in the afterglow of Raimonds Platacis’ (DDB) and Marcis Mikelsons’ (Cube-Media) fantastic Bronze Lion winning debut at Cannes, we are also thrilled by the achievements of the DDB agency network at the world’s most prestigious advertising awards festival.
DDB Europe’s network received 30 Lions at Cannes – high recognition indeed for our creative ideas. Moreover, DDB’s achievements were almost three times as great as those of our nearest rivals. We’re especially delighted that this achievement was bolstered by the success of DDB Latvia together with Cube-Media. Bravo!
To our additional delight and the dismay of our competitors, another record also remains unchanged – DDB’s global network is still the most award winning advertising network in the world and at Cannes this year, the agency’s awards cabinet was augmented with another 49 Lions. All that remains is for us to wish both ourselves and our clients all the best as we enter new jungles in our ongoing hunt for more Lions!
