The IQ camp is the agency’s biggest event of the summer. This year, we were able to draw on the knowledge of such Latvian experts as Martins Ritins, Viesturs Celmins and Juris Kaza. Have you ever asked yourself why the chicken you buy from supermarkets is loose, tomatoes do not smell like tomatoes and the omelette you fried is a greyish tone of yellow? Nobody knows what kind of legacy genetically modified food will leave on our bodies in 40-50 years time. Therefore, Slow Food is a safe long-term investment for your health. Irrespective of the fact that there’s no oil or gold in Latvia, we have the largest percentage of renewable energy source among European nations. There is only one question that remains. How effectively are we using them? And it’s a good one! Meanwhile, digital clothing, electronic tattoos and time machines are no longer utopia. In addition to leaving the camp with sacks full of knowledge, we also discovered that we’re capable of being spontaneously creative by trying out the methods central to exciting improvisation theatre.
As you can see, we are more than well prepared for September 1!
