September 26 witnessed the ninth Golden Hammer International Advertising Festival to be held in Riga. Given that agencies from 18 countries participated at the festival, it would not be unreasonable to describe the competition as intense. Works were submitted in seven categories. We were pleased to note the outstanding results achieved in the Best use of Media category by our colleagues from OMD Latvia/Fuse and PHD Latvia/Fuse. At the same time, we at DDB can be proud of the fact that we were the only agency from Latvia to make it into the final of the Integrated Campaigns category with our submission of Centis Ubele in his role as Maxima’s Head Efectologist.
Next year, we may even invite Centis himself to take part just to make sure that we really do enjoy effective cooperation and also win a Golden Hammer!
