This may sound unbelievable, but it’s a fact. Preparations for the S3 strategic competition for companies have been completed. All that remained were the final training sessions, and final strategic tasks, and on September 3-4, the DDB S3 team headed to Apšuciems where they joined 24 other teams representing various companies and put their strategic and cooperation skills to the test. The competition proved to be very exciting and more physically demanding than we’d expected. And this proved to be the deciding factor in our result – we finished in 18^th place.

This year, the DDB team’s slogan was, “It’s Gonna Be Fine!” Developing last year’s idea, “Take It Easy”, this year we drew attention to the fact that currently it’s important to maintain an optimistic and hopeful outlook in all areas of life! Including this competition! Another new development is that we’ve become faster and more mobile. This year, DDB’s honour was defended by Account Director, Jānis Rungulis, Strategic Planner, Pēteris Ķīsis, Junior Art Director, Oskars Cirsis, Copywriter, Ulrika Rupā, and Assistant Strategic Planner, Artis Krilovs.
