This year we can be especially proud. Our achievements at the Golden Hammer 2009Festival were unrivalled! Now we can add three hammers from GoldenHammer to our Effie and Adwards festival awards. DDB was the only Latvian creative agency to win one golden and two silver hammers, as well as one diploma. The golden hammer was awarded to Maxima’s Centis’ Easter Game and this award hammers a notch into the history of 2009 making DDB the only Latvian agency to make it into the final and receive the highest award in the interactive media category! Silver hammers were awarded to Centis’ New Year Speech to the Nation and Zelta Zivtiņa’s WAP game ‘MAZIE’, while the ZZ tunnel received a finalist’s diploma. That’s not all though – DDB was also the most effective Latvian agency even though we only submitted five works of which four achieved notable recognition. This was the first time in the history of the Golden HammerFestival that DDB had enjoyed so much success. Congratulations to ourselves, Maxima and ZZ!
