Most Loved Brands to Be Announced on 28 September (0)

Any brand has three images – its actual one, the one that is its own creation and the one perceived by consumers. Ideally they should all overlap, but in reality this does not always happen. The most important of all is the last one, i.e. the image perceived by the consumer. And it is the way how consumers perceive your brand that is studied by DDB Brand Capital in partnership with Kapitāls magazine and Tirgus, and the social and media research agency TNS Latvia.

During the past year, Nokia, Google and Inbox were ranked as Latvia’s Top 3 most popular brands. You’ll find out whether or not these brands have managed to retain their positions or whether they have been superseded by others on 28 September at Spīķeru Concert Hall where the Latvian population’s most loved brands of 2010 will be announced at a formal ceremony held for the sixth time in honour of Latvia’s Most Loved Brands Chart. Awards will be presented to the Top 10 brands at the ceremony, as well as the leading brands in the by now traditional five image categories – uniqueness, quality, benefit, association and discussion. This heightened attention will be focussed on the discussion of brands. Recognition will go not only to the most influential brand in the opinion of the general public, but also to the most discussed brand in the virtual space of social media. The results of Latvia’s favourite brands chart and a broader insight into the study will be published in the October edition of Kapitāls magazine.
