This year, the chart of Latvia’s most loved brands celebrates its fifth birthday by identifying the 50 most loved brands in Latvia. A celebration for somebody, pause for thought for someone else – the chart will clearly show the ability of brands to adapt to the new economic situation. Interestingly, only 6 brands in the TOP50 have managed to increase their number of admirers compared to last year. This has undoubtedly been a year full of changes!
Changes have also occurred in visual identity and the judging procedure. Brands were judged in five different image categories – uniqueness, quality, convenience, association and word-of-mouth. The best will receive awards at the annual ceremony honouring the most loved brands in Latvia on September 29. Special recognition will also be given to the most influential brand, as well as the brand that has made the fastest climb up the chart.
Naturally, the TOP10 is the subject of the most interest. And here too changes have occurred – 4 new brands have entered the TOP10. Which ones? Make your predictions! The senders of the first three most accurate forecasts will receive DDB Worldwide CEO Chuck Brymer’s book "The nature of marketing" which outlines the principles of swarm marketing and also presents examples of the most successful campaigns.
The most loved brands chart is compiled by a team of experts from DDB Consulting in partnership with Kapitāls magazines and SKDS research centre. The results from Latvia's most loved brands chart and an in-depth insight into the study will be published in the October edition of Kapitāls magazine.
