Last week in the city of Valmiera and its suburbs, teams representing 37 companies set out to prove their physical, strategic and intellectual metal in a challenging competition comprised of five individual and highly demanding stages. The competition was intense and right until the very last stages;the identity of the winners couldn’t be predicted with any degree of certainty. This year, every team was presented with an award. And the greatest ovations rang out when the DDB ‘Take It Easy’ team stepped onto the podium. We may not have been the most talented, but we were definitely the nicest team! Believe it or not, but ‘Take It Easy!’ became S2’s unofficial slogan. We were quoted then and are still being quoted now. We received a special award from “Lietiska Diena” for publishing the first blog to appear on the portal. Overall we finished 21st. One of the most moving moments was the finish. To the sound of our team’s single and the sight of our flag fluttering defiantly, all five of our team members ran into the finish zone where we were greeted by our fans.
