DDB Worldwide continues to be globally influential. At this year’s Cannes International Advertising Festival, the network secured a respectable 3rd place among the most award winning agencies with 211 shortlisted works and 63 lions.
Special recognition went to Mudra Communications from India, DDB Singapore and DDB Paris, each of which received eight lions. DDB Stockholm continued to reap in awards for its Fun theory works; on this occasion with a speed camera for which the ad’s creators were awarded a titanium lion – the first such award in DDB’s history. Meanwhile DDB London, DDB Brazil and the DDB Hong Kong group each won four lions.
