1st place in the sponsorship category of this year’s Public Relations Annual Awards 2008 was justifiably awarded to the Nordea Riga Marathon campaign which an international jury recognised as being the best pan-Baltic campaign of the year. This project organised by Nords Event Communications in partnership with DDB turned into an unheard of event – more than 5300 participants from 34 countries. This is an outstanding example of a local event that was transformed into an internationally recognised and much anticipated event!
