During the last week, residents of Riga have had the chance to step back into the lives and home of the stars from the Zelta Zivtina series. The ZZ tram as created by DDB first hit the streets of Riga on July 18, 2006 and became a firm favourite of commuters in the city of Riga. It was a new, original idea to recreate an environment generated by advertising in a publicly accessible form for residents of the city. Surveys demonstrate that that Riga's commuters recall a ride on the tram-apartment as a happy, mood uplifting trip or at the least, an unusual and different experience in the context of the rhythm of daily life!
The restored tram will light up the lives of its passengers with its new, improved design and interesting and cheery interior. It has been created as a model of the apartment in the Zelta Zivtina series which is home to Alekss, Marija, Makss, Olga and Jana. The interior has been further augmented with their most popular phrases from the series which have already become an integral element of daily street talk like “That's for you, muchacho!”, “What's in it for me?” and many others.
Those who are not intimately acquainted with the series and its heroes may be interested in the facts and information on various topics which can be read during the journey as excerpts from an enciclopedia . If you're interested in what a crocodile does to submerge itself deeper under water and how long it takes for ketchup to be poured, you'll want to take a ride on the tram-apartment on the route 6 tram. Here, you'll not only find answers to these, but also to many other funny, interesting and hilarious questions. And if you want to experience the feeling of living in a mobile home with a shower, kitchen and leisure zone, then the tram-apartment is the real place to take up a comfortable position in the club chair and watch a couple of episodes from the latest ZZ series on screen as you head towards your destination along the Centrs-Jugla. Bon voyage!
